🕖 07:00 AM – Departure from Leticia
We depart early in the morning from Leticia aboard a speed boat on the Amazon River, navigating through one of the most biodiverse ecosystems on Earth. Enjoy scenic river views and a peaceful journey deeper into the Amazon.
🍍 08:30 AM – Arrival & Indigenous Welcome
Upon arrival in Macedonia Indigenous Village, you will be welcomed by members of the community with a fresh fruit snack made from local Amazonian fruits. This moment marks the beginning of an authentic cultural exchange.
🌿 09:00 AM – Guided Jungle Trek
Accompanied by an indigenous local guide, we explore the surrounding rainforest on a guided jungle walk:
Identification of medicinal plants
Traditional uses of forest resources
Observation of local flora, fauna and birdlife
Indigenous survival knowledge
This walk is adapted to the group’s pace and focuses on learning and respect for nature.
🍽️ 12:00 PM – Traditional Amazon Lunch
Enjoy a home-cooked traditional lunch, prepared by the community using local ingredients. Vegetarian options are available upon request.
🏘️ 01:00 PM – Cultural Exchange in Macedonia Village
After lunch, we explore the village and daily life of the community:
Visit family spaces and communal areas
Learn about indigenous traditions, history and worldview
Time for respectful interaction, questions and photography
🧵 02:00 PM – Hands-On Cultural Workshop
Participate in a practical workshop using natural resources, such as:
Natural fibers
Seeds and plant-based materials
Simple artisan techniques
This activity highlights traditional knowledge, sustainability and circular use of natural resources.
🚤 03:30 PM – Return to Leticia
We board the speed boat for our journey back to Leticia, navigating the Amazon River as the afternoon light reflects over the water.
🕔 04:30–05:00 PM – End of the Adventure
Arrival in Leticia and end of the experience.
