 Day 1 – Welcome to the Gateway of the Amazon

  • Arrival in Leticia: Personal pick-up at Alfredo Vásquez Cobo International Airport

  • Transfer to Waira Suites Hotel – check-in and welcome drink

  • City Tour – Three Borders: Guided walking tour of Leticia and Tabatinga (Brazil), with stories of border culture, indigenous heritage, and Amazonian biodiversity. Includes a visit to the handicraft market and viewpoints.

  • Sunset experience at Parque Santander (famous for parrot flocks)

  • Dinner at the hotel – introduction to Amazonian flavors

  • Overnight at Waira Suites Hotel

Day 2 – Journey to Puerto Nariño & Dolphin Encounter

  • Breakfast

  • River transfer to Puerto Nariño – scenic boat ride along the Amazon River (~2 hours)

  • Visit to Isla del Cacao – dolphin watching (pink and gray), flora interpretation

  • Traditional lunch in the peruvian indigenous village.

  • Workshop of handcrafted brazeletes with traditional artisans.

Day 3 – Nature, Culture & Gastronomy in Tarapoto Lakes

  • Gastronomic immersion lunch – a tasting experience of Amazonian ingredients (fish, fruits, herbs, roots) prepared by local chefs

  • Cultural exchange and learn about medicinal plants, ancestral knowledge shared by local guides

Day 4 – Cultural Encounters & Nature Preservation

  • Visit to Wochine Natural Reserve – learn about forest conservation, endemic species, and indigenous efforts to protect the land

  • Lunch at a community-owned restaurant

  • Cultural city tour of Puerto Nariño – visit handicraft stores, and sustainable development sites

  • Return by boat to Leticia (~2 hours)

  • Farewell dinner at a local restaurant or Waira Suites

Day 5 – Departure

  • Breakfast at hotel

  • Free time for shopping or a visit to the Ethnographic Museum

  • Transfer to Leticia Airport for return flight.
